The National Report “Community Foundations in Albania” presents the first in-depth assessment of the establishment of Community Foundations in Albania, with a particular focus on the first model created in the country. It analyses the challenges, opportunities, and potential of community foundations for local development. The analysis is based on the 4Cs framework (Capacity, Capability, Credibility, and Connection), highlighting current challenges and identifying opportunities for growth through cooperation with local communities, development of partnerships with the diaspora and the private sector, as well as the use of crowdfunding platforms.
